Season Ends Like it Started - Wet!

I guess she always gets the last word... Mother Nature that is. After the first few weeks getting cut due to rain, the last race of the year has been wiped out to rain and snow. Thanks for the cruel slap in the face Mother Nature.

Once racing finally begun this year it went well. The season was unpredictable to say the least with many surprising outcomes. Congrats to Doug Krause on defending his class championship and to Nick Audette and Kevin Delaine for making history - sharing a championship title. The last race charge by Delaine was very impressive. And, the "what might have been" story for Rob Weins was another highlight, for all the wrong reasons. Whatever your opinions are on the year, it was exciting and the Pure Stock classes put on some of the best racing at the facility all year - I know because I saw every race in every class!

The next order of business for Pure Stock News is to compile the year's Top 10 Racing Moments. I will be working on that over the next few weeks. After that all the year's videos will be collected in a series and available for purchase. Sets will be available from RRCS as well as ALH. I am taking pre-orders now. This year's sets will include the Top 10 video that still has to be created. Right now it is looking like the ALH set will carry 4-6 discs and the RRCS sets will carry 6-8 discs.
